Differentiate the hip from the back

A common hip-pain pattern is that the lumbar spine does work the hip should share. Another is the opposite: the pelvis freezes and the leg never truly moves in the socket.

I'm a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, trained at Instituto Feldenkrais in Barcelona. My work is based on Dr. Feldenkrais' original Amherst Functional Integration lessons.

Feldenkrais cannot reverse joint-surface changes, but it can help you move with less guarding and distribute effort more comfortably.

Yes, once you are cleared to move and we follow your surgeon's precautions.

No referral is needed. You can book directly. If you'd like, I'm happy to coordinate with your GP or physiotherapist.

Feldenkrais is not covered by Dutch basic insurance. Some supplementary packages reimburse part of the cost under alternative therapies. Check with your insurer.

Normal, comfortable clothing. You stay fully clothed throughout the session. No special gear or equipment needed.

Feldenkrais is especially well-suited for older adults because it's gentle by design. It is always the right age to start.
